CUPS PDF Writer (Adobe Acrobat Writer replacement), PDFEdit (Adobe Acrobat Standard / Professional replacement)

CUPS PDF Writer

The CUPS PDF Writer is mainly what it says, it's a PDF Writer that works with the CUPS printing system. CUPS is installed by default with Fedora. You will almost always want CUPS unless you are installing a very specific machine (i.e. a firewall box). To get the PDF Writer, install the "cups-pdf" package. This makes a PDF printer that will appear in your printers list and prints to the desktop. It works great, and beats a painful installation of Adobe Acrobat any day!!

PDFEdit (Adobe Acrobat Standard / Professional replacement)

This program still has some work to be done, however if you need to edit PDF files it's a great start. I will be adding more on this in the future.
