Rhythmbox Music Player (Audio Music Player, Library Manager)
I had long been a great fan of Winamp on Windows, and then XMMS in Linux (which is clone of Winamp). However, I soon discovered Rhythmbox Music Player which comes default on Fedora / Red Hat. It's a great player and management program for all of your media, and supports Internet radio and many other features. It is a great application for cataloging, organizing, searching, and reviewing your music collection. Sort and search by any criteria, like artist, album, date, etc. Rate songs and create play filters to only play songs on how you rate them. I highly encourage you to check it out if you're looking for a great program to manage and listen to your music collection.
EasyTag ID3 MP3 Tag Editor
EasyTag is a great id3 MP3 tag editor for Linux. If you download your media online, you often need to clean up the headers or tags for the MP3 files. EasyTag will help you do just this. It will automatically scan the directory you select for all MP3 files, then highlight in red the ones that have invalid or incomplete tags for you! You can then scroll through the list and review them very easily. The name of this program fits, it's very EASY to use! I highly recommend it if you need to go through and clean your music library.
